Mmm-mmm! That cornbread is smelling good!

Detroit is dominating the NFL pre-season so far, which means that it’s time to fire up that oven for some good ol’ Lions cornbread!

This is my favorite part of the season, when everybody is tied for first. We ALWAYS believe that THIS is the year, that the Lions will finally turn it around. We never give up hope. We love the Lions unconditionally, almost as much as we love the back-up quarterback – and this year it looks like it will be hometown star Drew Stanton.

Just read what Mike O’Hara from detnews.com wrote about the Lions - predicting they will win 9 games this year easily, and that Calvin Johnson is one of the top ten players in the NFL, even better than Adrian Peterson.
